The trend of horror movies has always been over the top all
over the world and also in Pakistan
with such horror flicks like Zibah Khana, Zinda Laash and Siyaah. However the
news is that Pakistan ’s
first Zombie movie Walking Dead is all set to release!
directed by our very own independent film-make Usman
Mukhtar.
The movie has been filmed in Dubai and has Dubai Based actors in it like
Nidhi Jha, Nadia Williams and Nitin Mirani in lead roles, Walking dead is a
collaborative project of Usman Mukhtar and Muse Dubai. this Zombie Thriller
comedy is expected to be released in the coming two months, The screenplay of this
movie have been written by Shahana Khan.
The co-founder of Muse Dubai, Roha Daud, appreciated Usman’s
work and said,
“A zomcom in particular, hasn’t been shot on this scale
locally, making it a great collaboration between South Asia and the Middle East , based on talent”.
Accroding to Rehaab Daud, the CEO of Muse Dubai :
“Although the film industry in UAE is steadily growing, I
haven’t heard of any [movies] being made in this genre”.
